With more than two decades of combined experience working closely with seniors and their families, Sonia Hansen and Terrie Orthner have guided countless individuals through some of life’s most important transitions.
Throughout their careers in senior living and support services, they saw firsthand how overwhelming it can be for families trying to navigate housing options, downsizing, care decisions, and emotional transitions—often while balancing busy lives, work responsibilities, and uncertainty about what comes next.
While working within the corporate world provided valuable experience and insight, Sonia and Terrie felt called to create something more personal, supportive, and relationship-focused. They wanted the freedom to spend meaningful time with families, truly listen to their needs, and provide thoughtful guidance without the time pressures often found in larger organizations.
That vision became Next Phase Navigators Ltd.
Today, Sonia and Terrie focus on what they love most: helping seniors and their families navigate the next phase of life with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Their goal is simple—to help each client find a place where they will feel comfortable, supported, and truly at home.
